Today the Grain Whisky Collection holds two whiskies that have aged for twenty years or more, resulting in exceptionally smooth and easy-going drinks.
For the first two expressions we selected, we were looking for more traditional, straightforward, or elegant smoothness. Our current selection contains only Singe Grain Whiskies that were distilled in one distillery from a carefully selected variety of grains. Both whiskies have aged in recharred oak casks, giving them a distinct yet balanced flavour profile.

The observatory
Numerous lighthouses and observatories safeguard the 10.250 miles of Scottish coastline, each overlooking the rugged beauty of the shores. It’s these observatories that inspired our master blenders for their brand of exceptionally matured single grain whiskies. Likewise, they are overlooking raw beauty which they turn into the finest aged whisky with expertise, care, and time.
The Observatory today presents two premium whiskies that are both characterised by their smoothness, elegance and exceptional ageing.
For the most premium expression of the Observatory, Stephanie McLeod has selected only the best 25 year old casks of Single Grain Whisky. Blessed by age, this beauty competes with great single malts of its age. It’s exceptionally smooth with soft floral notes and creamy vanilla nestled on a baked cereal base, with subtle notes of nutmeg and cinnamon, freshened with a zing of lime zest. The Observatory 25 will be available as of fall 2022.

Three Scottish Brothers has selected the best aged 20 year old whisky to create an outstanding Single Grain Scotch. To get the desired flavour profile our master blenders are using recharred oak casks that over time develop a more refined dram, with notes of oak, vanilla and caramel.
